November Meeting - Dave Lieber

Here's our latest slideshow! When choosing the music, I remembered how Dave Lieber had talked about going to his first Garth Brooks' concert and considered using Garth's "Friends in Low Places" as background music to the slideshow, which I thought would be VERY funny. But, then I worried I would offend someone unintentionally so I switched to the song, "God Bless Texas" - just like Dave ended his talk. Hopefully, that won't be offensive. But you never know...Maybe I just should have gone with "Deep in the Heart of Texas"...oh, the hard decisions I have to make (HA HA!). Anyway, enjoy!

Hey, how come I'm not in any of the slideshows?

I bet some of you are wondering where your photo is! Me, too! No, really, if you want to be in more slideshows, make sure to be photographed! I try and use every photo I have while also making sure people look their best. Carole MacDonald is our club photographer and if you see her and want a photo of you and your friends, call her over, pose and then SMILE!! You'll be sure to be in our next slideshow that way.

Also, if there are some photos you want a copy of, let me know which slideshow you saw them in and any other details you can provide and I will see about getting you a copy. I'm all about the photos, ladies!

One last thing, if you are having trouble exiting the slideshow, be sure and push the escape key (ESC) on your keyboard, located in the upper left corner of your keyboard. This should reduce the slideshow box so that you can easily close it from there.

Here is a quick slideshow from the Spring Luncheon where we were treated to a medley of Broadway show tunes by the fabulous entertainer Dave Tanner! The food was delicious, the music delightful, the company so friendly! Everyone had a fabulous time congratulating the 2007-2008 board and president Teri Sanford and ushering in the new board and president Karleen Hoffmann.
